about me
I'm a 27 year old women who has just finished her last round of radiation today. And thought it would be cool to create a place for tips and links for anyone else who would need this kind of info in the future. Also, this way I don't have to remember everything each time - I just redirect to this link :)
I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer last year while on honeymoon with my husband. I told him, "well after 7 years of dating I had to keep the marriage fresh and not boring". So, Ta-Da our marriage was kicked off with a whirlwind of doctors appointments, many new people, things and new norms. He's been amazing throughout this journey and I cannot imagine a better partner to have to go through this with.
Without the love and support of family and friends who opened their hearts, doors, beds, shared meals, transported me, and dried my tears, I would not have come out this process as determined. It's through the love of others and their willing to share their love, life, stories and time that I thought it was so important for me to pay it forward and share this with you.
I'm keen to grab a coffee/tea or skype or have a phone chat with anyone who maybe just needs someone to talk to who has been through breast cancer treatment. Please see the "contact"page for details on how to get hold of me.
